Overview
Describe a specific change in Knowledge and Attitudes that will likely result:   Learners will gain knowledge regarding clinical testing and new innovative therapeutics for men with relapsed progressive prostate cancer that we will results in improvement of quality of life and overall survival     Describe a specific change in Competence (having the ability to apply knowledge, skills, or judgment in practice) that will likely result:   The knowledge learned in the seminar will allow the attendees to implement new decisions and partner with the medical oncologists and provide optimal care for their patients.     Describe a specific change in Performance or Clinical Practice that will likely result:   Increase referral to medical oncology implement new diagnostic testing and strategies as well as provide new therapeutic strategies for these patients

Objectives

After participating in this activity, learners will be able to:
 
  1. Incorporate next generation sequencing into the management approach for patients with advanced prostate cancer.
  2. Integrate new checkpoint immunotherapy into the treatment of patients with prostate cancer.
  3. Utilize AR-V7 expression in patients with metastatic castrate resistant prostate cancer.
  4. Incorporate new clinical trials available to treat patients with double negative prostate cancer into their practice.
